Tinto Hill Holdings Ltd is the controller of the personal data described here. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 16981292, at St John's Chambers, Love Street, Chester CH1 1QY. You can contact us at nick@tintohill.co.uk. We obtained your information from publicly accessible sources. These are the Companies House register, public trade and accreditation registers, company websites, Google Business Profile listings, and business email lookup and verification services. The information we hold is your name, your job title or role, your employer, a business email address, a business telephone number, a business address, and information published about you on the Companies House register. We process it to identify companies that may meet our acquisition criteria, and to contact the owner or a director about a possible sale of the business. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR. The legitimate interest is the identification and approach of potential acquisition targets. A copy of our legitimate interests assessment is available on request. We share it with our email and file storage provider, our customer relationship management provider, our research database provider, our contact discovery and email verification providers, and our artificial intelligence service provider. Some of these are outside the United Kingdom. Those transfers are made under UK adequacy regulations or under the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the standard contractual clauses. If you do not respond to us, we erase your information 24 months after we last contacted you. If you ask us not to contact you again, we retain your name, email address and employer indefinitely on a suppression list, for the sole purpose of ensuring that we do not contact you again. You have the right to object at any time to our processing of your information for direct marketing. If you object, we will stop. Email nick@tintohill.co.uk. You do not need to give a reason. You also have the right of access, the right to have inaccurate information corrected, the right to erasure, the right to restrict our processing, and the right to object to our processing on other grounds. The right to data portability does not apply, because we rely on legitimate interests rather than consent or a contract. Email nick@tintohill.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
